Placing a hold.

If all the copies of the book you'd like to use are out at the moment, place a hold to reserve a copy, this is the quickest way to get a book which is out on loan.

Answer

If you would like to use a book which is out on loan to another user, place a hold so that it will be returned and set aside for you. You can place a hold for a book which is in the library and we will collect it from the shelf and set it aside for you to collect.  This can be useful if you want to collect the book from a different site, for example Aylesbury.

The link below gives full instructions on how to log into your library account, and place a hold.
