If your ID card isn't letting you check out books it might be that there are some unpaid charges on your account that have caused it to become blocked. Alternatively there might be a fault with your the card itself. Please visit the Library Service Desk during staffed hours and we will be happy to sort things out so that you can borrow the items you need.
If you have forgotten your ID card you will not be able to borrow any items using our self-service terminals. If you have photographic ID with you and need to borrow an item we may be able to help, so please speak to a member of staff at the Library Service Desk.
Please remember you should carry your ID card with you at all times while you are on campus. Security staff regularly patrol the library spaces and may ask you to leave if you do not have your card with you.
