Library access and resources for distance learning students.
Answer
You can still make good use of the library if you are on a distance learning course or on a placement away from the university campus.
The library’s electronic resources (e-books, e-journals and databases) can all be accessed off campus. You will need to ensure you are signed into Blackboard and follow the link for Library and Learning Resources.
To search for and access the full text of e-books and articles make sure you sign into Library Search too, using your student ID and password. More details about searching electronic resources and accessing your reading list can be found via your Library Subject Guide.
If you are off campus and need help with library resources, you can contact us via email or use our online chat service. You are also welcome to book a one-to-one appointment with your Academic Liaison Librarian.
